Metals and water

Image result for calcium reacting with waterIn the lab we tested various metals example calcium and iron with hot and cold water. And we put the test tube over the bunsen burner using test tube holders to heat up the water. The metal that reacted the most was calcium you saw bubbles and fizz. most of them did not react to cold water a lot of them didn't react with hot water either.

Water Experiment

I checked the temperature at zero seconds thirty seconds sixty seconds ninety seconds zero seconds was 20 degrees thirty seconds was 27 degrees sixty seconds was thirty four degrees and ninety seconds 43 degrees we also found out that the water can be boiled over 100 degrees. water boils at 100 degrees the water can be boiled over 100 degrees.
